Shanghai Xingtong Lianfa Shipping Co., Ltd. has officially been
established! This new venture is the result of a strategic partnership
between Xingtong Shipping Co., Ltd. and Xiamen C&D Supply Chain
Logistics Technology Co., Ltd.
On January 8, 2025, Xingtong Shipping announced the formation of this
joint venture, marking a significant milestone in their ongoing
expansion plans under the company’s “1+2+1” strategic development model.
The collaboration aims to strengthen capabilities in the international
liquid hazardous goods transportation market, with the ultimate goal of
enhancing market competitiveness and industry influence.
The newly formed company, Shanghai Xingtong Lianfa Shipping, has a
registered capital of RMB 256 million. Xingtong Shipping will contribute
RMB 130.56 million to hold 51% of the joint venture’s shares, while
C&D Supply Chain Logistics Technology will invest RMB 125.44 million
for a 49% stake. This partnership will focus on capitalizing on the
opportunities in the domestic refinery and chemical export sectors,
leveraging China's shipbuilding industry strengths, and driving the
transformation towards greener, low-emission vessels in line with global
decarbonization trends.
The company was officially registered on January 6, 2025, and has
already secured its business license from the Shanghai Hongkou District
Market Supervision Administration. The joint venture will operate in a
range of sectors, including international passenger vessels, bulk liquid
hazardous goods transport, ship management, and cargo import/export
services, further expanding its business footprint.
This partnership is more than just a merger of resources; it signifies a
bold step for Xingtong Shipping in its global transportation ambitions.
By pooling expertise and capital, the two companies are well-positioned
to accelerate their international reach and capitalize on emerging
market trends in the shipping and logistics sectors.
